DRN Welcomes Sarah Luthi to the Team
We are excited to welcome Sarah Luthi to the DRN team. She will serve as our Administrative Assistant. We have been praying that God would lead us to the right person after funding for the position was provided by a generous donor. I asked Sarah if she could introduce herself and tell us how God led her to serve with DRN.
“My name is Sarah Luthi, and I reside on a cattle ranch outside of Madison, Kansas. I have been married to my favorite rancher, Dallas Luthi, for 15 years and together we have four children, Cohen, Caylin, Colter and Cooper. (I know, all C names, what were we thinking!) I enjoy good books, good coffee, sharing in hospitality and being outdoors. My hearts desire is to Seek God Earnestly, Be About His Business, and Just Be All In.
In February 2019, God brought our family to LWC. Through sermons, scripture and the Holy Spirit, God began to press me, and made me aware that He had other plans than my own. He wanted me to start clearing my plate of all the busyness I had acquired in my life. He was wanting me to shift my focus from just good things, to God things. I needed to have a kingdom focus. In May, I was approached by a friend, and she shared with me that Pastor Steve had asked her to pray about a position that needed filled, and my name was what God gave her. So, I prayed about it and God said yes. I started stepping down from leadership roles, began to finish out my obligations to community organizations and cut back the hours I was working at my own small business, so that I could start to free up time. I started with Dirt Roads Network in June, and I am grateful and excited that God called me into this position. I find joy in serving as an administrative assistant for Dirt Roads Network as well as love their mission of discipleship in rural communities.”
We are excited about Sarah’s role at DRN! She is managing my schedule, helping plan our retreats, and helping with all aspects of the ministry. In her first few weeks she has made a huge difference.
