Driven by her love of Jesus and a commitment to spiritual formation, Rachel joins Dirt Roads Network as the Director of Development. Raised in rural Kansas, Rachel learned the profound value of community and our need for one another. She has dedicated her career to serving non-profits that empower communities and work that creates lasting impact. Her passion for fostering meaningful connections extends to her volunteer work and her long-standing involvement in church leadership.

With more than two decades of experience in organizational leadership and development, Rachel is an accomplished fundraising professional who excels at building and maintaining relationships. She cultivates long-term connections with stakeholders to secure and sustain funding. Her proven expertise includes building high-performing teams and executing comprehensive strategies that consistently exceed fundraising and organizational goals.

She and her husband, Wendell, make their home in Sheridan, Wyoming, where they serve in ministry together. Wendell and Rachel have two grown children, Westen and Erin. They enjoy spending time with family, playing games, hiking in the mountains, and traveling.
